Pledging

Rushing

The Rush (recruitment) process is important to both potential members and Brothers alike. It is a way of familiarizing yourself with our fraternity. It is a way of familiarizing yourself with the Brothers that make up our organization. It is our means of getting to know prospective members. Moreover, it is a process that helps you determine whether or not you want to be a part of the Xi.

Pledging

Psi Upsilon, like many fraternities, employs a probationary period for prospective members before their intiation into full membership. Ths orientation period is known as the pledging process. It serves to educate the potential brothers about Psi U before they join. This is an opportunity for the pledges to become an integral part of the chapter before intiation. It also serves as an opportunity for initiated members to reaffirm their own lifelong commitment to Psi U. The enduring bonds of Psi Upsilon brotherhood can only be forged among those who understand and appreciate the ideals upon which Psi U was founded. The pledging process is the critical first stage for those hoping to attain that appreciation and understanding.
